MADDISON’S GARDEN GUEST SUITE
Your boutique self contained peaceful private suite in our sunny north facing country garden for up to 4 people. 50 minutes from the Airport, 30 from the City, 15 from Albany, 10 from main north & south arterial routes.
Variety of seaside shopping and Malls within 20 minutes
Gateway to the North. Perfect location for local weddings and functions.
A 1 minute drive to Black Cottage Cafe, it has superb breakfasts, coffee, muffins, lunches, dinner Thursday to Saturday, best to book, you are spoilt for choice of many other excellent cafes, restaurants and vineyards .
Close to many popular venues for weddings and functions, the Coatesville Hall is only a 2minute drive.
Hiking, mountain biking, several golf courses and the world famous Gannet Colony are all within easy reach.
Country calm, quiet, welcoming, at one with nature. Open the doors to enjoy the tranquility of the garden, sit out on your private deck and enjoy your morning coffee or afternoon wine. Watch the antics of the wonderful birds we share our garden with - native tui, wood pigeons, pheasants and the quaint quail are just a few you may see. At night you can hear the moreporks calling.
ACCOMODATION
The Guest Suite is 85sq metres
The master bedroom opens into the garden, enjoy the views from the super king bed. The master bedroom has a private ensuite with walk in shower, twin vanity with make up lights and a hair dryer. The walk-in wardrobe has bathrobes. Iron and ironing board, ladies if you are going to a wedding or function.
The second bedroom has twin beds, it’s own seperate bathroom with walk in shower and a luxurious bath
We can accommodate up to four people in the two spacious bedrooms. Book one or both, you are assured of privacy as you will be our only guests.
The comfy sunny lounge opens onto the garden, which you are welcome to wander around. It has a kitchenette cupboard with tea and coffee, fridge fully provisioned with continental breakfast items. A toaster and Microwave provided.
TV with chrome-cast and plenty of books. Free wifi.
The Homestay has its own secure entrance, it is easy flat undercover access through the master bedroom, park right outside your door, we have ample off road parking.
VACINITY
It is only a one minute drive to our excellent local cafe, Black Cottage, if you want a coffee and muffin or a cooked breakfast or lunch. Close to many other good cafes, restaurants and vineyards. There are many local walking tracks, hiking, mountain biking and several golf courses all within easy reach. Ask and i can send information or suggestions
Supermarkets and the Albany Mall are a 10 minute drive.
Enjoy the north, east and west coast beaches, cruise the Hauraki Gulf, lunch on Waiheke Island, the Waitakare Ranges, Matakana and Mangawhai are an easy drive. Two minutes to the extremely popular Gin School and Distillery - https://dstilproject.nz/gin/ I recommend you call around and sample Sarah’s Coatesvillian Gin, take a memento of Coatesville in a bottle home with you.

Maddisons Garden Homestay has a strict no smoking / vaping policy on the property .
Friends welcome. No parties or noise after 10pm. No young children or pets. We do not provide xtra beds or have any disabled facilities, the Homestay is not suitable for wheelchairs.
SUSTAINABILITY
We try to stock and use only natural biodegradable products throughout the property to minimise our carbon footprint. As we are rural, our water is collected from the roof and filtered. Very occasionally we may ask you to conserve water use, but this is rare. The waste water system is an Eco Wastewater system for rural properties.
